The Guizhou Soar Eagle (also known as "Soar Dragon") is a Chinese Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. It is in the class of the High-Altitude Long Endurance ( HALE ) UAVs. The Soar Eagle has an special diamond shaped wing structure, to improve high altitude flight characteristics. At the Zuhai Air Show in 2006, the Soar Eagle was first shown publicly. The Soar Eagle shows many similarities with the American RQ-4 Global Hawk, for example the rear mounted inlets. It was designed to perform reconnaissance and surveillance missions.
