Bell 206 LongRanger II
The Bell 206 is a family light civilian utility helicopters built by Bell. The helicopter was based on the Bell YOH-4, and developed for the US Army Light Observation Helicopter program, which called for a four seat light observation helicopter.

Bell's design, which utilised the powerplant and rotor system form a Bell UH-1 Iroquois, failed in the competition, so Bell decided to modify the design into a commercial helicopter. Successfully marketed as the 206A, this became the blueprint for every light transport helicopter developed during the next 40 years.[1].
